ADAS Calibration
Most newer vehicles are equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) that use precisely aligned sensors and cameras to provide collision avoidance warnings to aid drivers. ADAS features include lane departure warnings (LDW), adaptive cruise control (ACC), forward collision warnings (FCW), automatic emergency braking (AEB) and lane keep assist (LKA), among other systems. Some of these features are passive, which means they may alert you or make a noise, while others are active and will take control of your vehicle. These sensors need to be properly calibrated (or recalibrated) every time they are moved or disrupted, like after an accident or a windshield repair.
